The first Singapore "WuDeBei" Traditional Martial Arts Invitational Tournament was held on 18/03/2014. The idea suddenly came to us when we were drinking and celebrating after the Lunar New Year celebrations. Our idea was actually very simple, that is, we wanted to do our part to promote traditional wushu. After everyone agreed, we started planning the next day. During the preparation, we faced insufficient funds and time constraints, which was full of twists and turns. It was only with the determination to promote traditional martial arts that we were able to persevere. With everyone working together and cooperating, this tournament was miraculously successfully held within 2 months. In order to show our sincerity, we specially arranged the long-lost group championship, runner-up and third place honors for the top three teams with the highest total number of gold medals, and also added a three-event all-around ranking award. Looking back, I sincerely thank all the teams that participated in the competition, the masters in the martial arts community who served as referees, and our enthusiastic parents who helped with the work on and off the stage. Your participation and support have laid the foundation for the positive development of the WuDeBei in the next few years.
